This manipulates the image after it is taken so as to make it look like a fisheye lens was used. Here is a sample image:

To make this kind of scene, turn the shooting mode dial on top of the camera to Filters mode with the Shooting Mode Dial, push the FUNC SET central button and select Fish-eye Effect.
I think you can transform you images using an external software. Can Gimp do post image processing by using a fisheye transformation?
